Highport orbital control
How it works
Welcome aboard. Orbital control takes care of the unglamorous parts of having a website (the certificates, the hosting, the question of whether the page is still there next year) and hands you back an address that works. You do three things and Highport keeps the flight path smooth.
Three steps and you’re in orbit

Check in
Sign in with the Bluesky account you already have. There’s nothing new to create and no password to invent, and Highport never sees the one you’ve got. Approve the request once and you’re through the airlock.

Pick your coordinates
Take a free address on
sites.highport.space, or bring a domain you already own. Either way, orbital control walks you through it and lets you know the moment your coordinates are locked in. -
Launch
Drag your website into the builder, or start from one of the ready-made tiles. Press publish. Your site is usually live before a countdown would have finished, over https, with nothing to renew. This is slow space. Things stay where you put them.
Two ways to fill the page
Ready-made tiles
A tile is a design somebody has already built and pressurized: a profile spotlight, a link directory, a holding page for a domain you haven’t done anything with yet. Pick one, answer a couple of questions (your name, where people can find you), and the page is yours. Tiles could be almost anything, and new ones dock regularly.
You should also know that your page stays fixed to the version of the tile you picked. If its author redesigns it next week, your site doesn’t budge. You upgrade when you feel like it, or never.
Bring your own vessel
Already have a site? Drag the folder in and it flies as is: same files, same paths, your address. If you want to know exactly what’s allowed on board, the docs have the full manifest.
It stays yours
Your site is registered to you, not to us. It lives with your Bluesky account, and if that account ever moves, the site moves with it. Highport’s job is delivery: we keep a copy up here so pages load fast, and we relay them to the World Wide Web.
There’s no export button because there’s nothing to export. You’ve had it the whole time.
